Sesame Glazed Walnuts
2 cups walnuts
1 desert spoon coconut oil
1-2 dessert spoons Rice Bran syrup (depending on how sweet you want them)
1 dessert spoon black sesame seeds (white are ok too)
Add coconut oil to a small pan and melt over low-medium heat.
Add the walnuts and gently toast, stirring occasionally for ten minutes or until toasted.
Add the rice bran syrup and stir to coat the walnuts. Keep on the heat for a minute or two then stir in the sesame seeds.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Store in an airtight jar.
These sesame Glazed Walnuts are so easy to make and are amazing on their own as a snack, in salads or on try topping half an avocado with a few ~ delish!
