Nature provide all you need (and always has). We are nature, and we can look to the outside world to help us find insight, perspective and learn many lessons.
Personally, I can find meaning in a rock – most things hold meaning and I regularly use what I see in the outer world as a door to my inner world. Profound? Weird? Are you the same? This way of looking at life’s metaphysical side is completely normal, and perhaps in days where we lived closer to nature, it was normal for all of us.
Ok so if this isn’t the way you view the world (that’s completely fine by the way), but if you’d like to learn some ways to connect deeply with the world, this can be a place to start..
We are sensory beings, and every day we receive billions of pieces of information from nature and the environments we spend time in, whether it be from temperature, light and dark, colour, sounds, smells, tastes, textures, interactions with others, thoughts and feelings, it all makes up our incredible human experience. Sometimes we forget that the simplest things like quiet time reflecting in a natural space can offer wisdom and healing of the purest kind. Mother nature gives us so much, and we can seek out her peace and wisdom in the many elements that make her whole and give us life.
